Modulation of gene expression by rapamycin in hepatic cell lines, H5D and GN5

Two rat hepatic cell lines, GN5 and H5D, were characterized for the effect of rapamycin on gene expression. These cells lines are tumorigenic and display intermediate sensitivity to the growth inhibitory effects of rapamycin. The goal of this experiment was to assess the effect of rapamycin on gene expression independent of effects on cell proliferation.针对雷帕霉素（rapamycin）对基因表达的影响，本研究对两种大鼠肝细胞系GN5和H5D完成了特性表征。该两类细胞系均具有致瘤性，且对雷帕霉素的生长抑制效应表现出中等敏感性。本实验旨在评估雷帕霉素在排除其对细胞增殖的效应干扰的前提下对基因表达的调控作用。
