For the English version below. The counts are like Excel files. There is one file for each of the counted crosses. Each file contains a number of spreadsheets. The first worksheet in each file contains an image of the cross with a selection for the spoken directions: E = east, S = south, W = west and N = north. The next few spreadsheets contain the counts divided into each of the directions from which the vehicles can come from. If you choose one spreadsheet, you will be able to see counts on the number of vehicles driven from that direction into the junction. As shown in the first column ‘TIME’, the counts are aggregated in 5 minute intervals. For every twelfth row you can see the total number of vehicles in the numbered hour. The next columns are divided on the basis of swing directions that the vehicles swing out of the junction: Left Turn = left turn, Straight Through = straight through, Right Turn = right turn & U turn = unturn. Under each of these direction of rotation, vehicle types are grouped: Car = passenger car, LGV = van, OGV1 = truck, OGV2 = large truck, Bus = bus & MCY = motorcycles. The last column under each direction of swing shows the total number of vehicles in 5 minutes intervals. In each file, after the spreadsheets for the directions, there is a spreadsheet showing the number of pedestrians: The “PEDs”. This worksheet is also divided into 5 minute intervals, as seen in the first column, with the sum of each hour. The next columns contain the parts of the intersection in which the pedestrians cross. Each of these is divided into the directions the pedestrians go. A pedestrian crossing the street in the East (E) can either walk in the north or in the south. The same goes for West (W). While pedestrians crossing South (S) and North (N) can go in eastern or western direction. A pedestrian who crosses the road to cross again to the diagonally opposite corner is counted twice. Once for each time he crosses, just in a different column. Each file also contains a worksheet called “Pedal Bikes”. This sheet contains counts of cyclists. Here we see again the time divided into 5 minute intervals in the first column. The next columns are again divided in the direction from which the cyclists come, where each is subdivided into swing directions out of the junction. The last worksheet in each file contains counts on cargo bikes. This spreadsheet is identical to that for regular bicycles. These traffic counts are saved as Excel files.
