We provide a manually-curated genome mining analysis of the bacterial plant pathogen Streptomyces scabiei. The expression of the deduced biosynthetic gene clusters was assessed by a RNAseq approach, and their potential to be induced by the virulence elicitors cellobiose and cellotriose was estimated by comparing mRNA levels before and after elicitor addition. Finally, we performed metabolomic analyzes to evaluate how the production of known specialized metabolites responds to virulence elicitors, in correlation (or not) with the transcriptomic data mRNA levels of S. scabiei 87-22 in a minimal medium with maltose as carbon source suppl. with cellobiose or cellotriose. Two Elicitors, three time points in three replicates (18 samples). Each sample has several fastq raw read files, corresponding to different reads (paired-end, so R1 and R2), as well as different sequencing lanes (4 in total, L001/L002/L003/L004). mRNA levels of S. scabiei 87-22 or ∆cebR in the rich ISP2 medium. Two strains, two time points with three replicates (12 samples). Each sample has several fastq raw read files, corresponding to different reads (paired-end, so R1 and R2), as well as different sequencing lanes (4 in total, L001/L002/L003/L004).
