Deciphering the role of selective modification of N-glycosylation in melanocyte development and melanoma progression

To explore the qualitative changes in the glycoproteome in B16 mouse melanoma cells upon ablation of Mgat4b gene which encodes for an enzyme responsible for the modification of N-glycosylation pattern in specific proteins, we performed LC-MS/MS of the lysate enriched by Datura Stramonium lectin from wildtype B16 cell and Mgat4b-/- cells.
