## **Abstract** \n\nThis dataset and its metadata statement were supplied to the Bioregional Assessment Programme by a third party and are presented here as originally supplied:\n\n\n\nThis shapefile contains flood mapping for a theoretical 1% AEP (100 year ARI) flood event for the West Gippsland CMA region. It includes mapping from various flood studies, historical flood events and ground-truthing exercises.\n\n## **Purpose** \n\nMuch of the mapping has been tested through planning scheme amendments and their associated community consultation and exhibition requirements. It is current to November 2014 but it is important to note that it is a dynamic dataset that is progressively updated as flood studies are completed or new data comes to hand.
