In accordance with the Law of 1 July 1901, any creation of an association is the subject of a declaration to the representative of the State in the department. It is subject to the publication of the following elements in the Official Journal: name and purpose of the association, statutes, address of the head office, any establishments, names, professions, domiciles and nationalities of directors. Thereafter, any changes in the administration or statutes must also be forwarded to the State representative in the department.

The RNA (National Directory of Associations) is the national file listing all the information on associations covered by the law of 1 July 1901 whose head office is France as well as associations recognised as being of public interest. It is developed by the Ministry of the Interior. Since 2010, it replaces the directory WALDEC (Web of freely declared associations). Each association is identified by a “RNA number” starting with W and consisting of 9 digits. This number is automatically assigned when declaring the creation of an association.

The map proposed here illustrates the “RNA WALDEC”, which contains the list of associations with an RNA number. All associations created or having declared a change in situation since 2009 have an RNA number.It is up to date on 1 January 2022. It shall contain the RNA number, the name of the association and its acronym, the object of the association and its corporate purpose, the address of the head office and, where applicable, the management address, where applicable the internet address of the association, the date of update of the RNA number. The declarant’s name has been anonymised. It represents the presence or not of associations in a municipality by large category of activity (Sports and Leisure, Culture, etc.).

A dynamic dashboard is also available on this site, which allows you to know the number of associations per category and by municipality at a given date as well as the names of the associations concerned. It also allows you to consult the object of each association.

The public service site devotes a tab to associations. In particular, online services can be found for the creation, modification or dissolution of an association.

依据1901年7月1日的法律，任何协会的设立均须向所在省的国家代表提交申报，并需将以下信息刊载于官方公报：协会名称与宗旨、章程、总部地址、所有分支机构、负责人的姓名、职业、住所及国籍。此后，协会管理机构或章程发生的任何变更，也须报送至所在省的国家代表。

全国协会名录（RNA, National Directory of Associations）由法国内政部开发，是收录所有总部位于法国且符合1901年7月1日法律规定的协会，以及被认定为公共利益的协会的国家级档案库。自2010年起，该名录取代了WALDEC名录（Web of freely declared associations，自由申报协会网络名录）。每个协会均配有以字母W开头、由9位数字组成的“RNA编号”，该编号在协会设立申报时自动完成分配。

本次展示的地图所依托的数据集为“RNA WALDEC”，其中包含所有带有RNA编号的协会清单。2009年以来新设或已申报信息变更的协会均已分配RNA编号。本数据集的更新时点为2022年1月1日，所含字段包括：RNA编号、协会名称及其缩写、协会活动目标与法人宗旨、总部地址、（如适用）管理地址、（如适用）协会互联网地址，以及RNA编号的更新日期。申报人姓名已做匿名化处理。本数据集按照活动大类（如体育与休闲、文化等）展示各市镇内协会的分布情况。

本网站同时提供动态数据仪表板，支持查询指定日期下各活动大类及各市镇的协会数量、相关协会名称，还可查阅单个协会的活动宗旨。
