This is a lacZ reporter gene bioassay that measures aryl hydrocarbon receptor signaling in response to aromatic hydrocarbons. Here, fractions from the Overton laboratory prepared on 1-20-2017 (13 sub-fractions) and 1-26-2017 (17 sub-fractions) were tested at 3 dilutions for bioactivity. The oil sub-fractions were compared by % normalization to signaling of the positive reference ligand beta-naphthoflavone which was set to 100%. Signaling at greater dilutions indicates greater potency and/or greater chemical content in the sub-fractions.

本数据集采用lacZ报告基因生物测定法,用于检测芳香烃诱导的芳基烃受体(aryl hydrocarbon receptor, AhR)信号通路活性。本次实验使用Overton实验室于2017年1月20日制备的13个亚组分,以及2017年1月26日制备的17个亚组分,设置3个稀释梯度开展生物活性检测。以阳性参照配体β-萘黄酮(β-naphthoflavone)的信号强度为100%基准,对各油相亚组分的信号值进行百分比归一化处理后进行组间比较。稀释度越高,所测得的信号强度越强,表明对应亚组分中活性物质的效价或总化学含量越高。
