The MESA code for 'The Evolution of Cataclysmic Variables Under Various Magnetic Braking Prescriptions' by Tang et al. (2026)

This is the MESA code that is used in the study of 'The Evolution of Cataclysmic Variables Under Various Magnetic Braking Prescriptions' By Tang et al. (2026). The RVJ model can be readily implemented in MESA, and we therefore do not provide a separate implementation here. The files provided here correspond to the full set of calculations used in Section 4.3 to explore the impact of different tau_conv prescriptions. The code used in the main text of the paper is also included, i.e. by setting the parameter tau_index = 1 in the inlist1 file, one can adopt the prescription of Gossage et al. (2025). The package can be downloaded and directly executed using MESA r11701.
