Labour market policy (LMP) measures refer to public labour market interventions where the main activity of participants is other than job-search related and where participation usually results in a change in labour market status. LMP measures cover primarily interventions that provide temporary support for groups that are disadvantaged in the labour market (unemployed, employed at risk, and inactive persons).
