Partial sequence characterization of lactose-inducible long-chain alpha-galactosidase from Papiliotrema (Cryptococcus) flavescens

C-terminal sequence of alpha galactosidase consisting of 210 amino acids was derived from 720 bp long partial cDNA sequence representing 3´end of mRNA. The identity of the protein was verified using four peptide sequences that were identified by de novo sequencing of tryptic digest of the purified enzyme.
