Supplementary dataset for "Abundant surface resins present on Middle Devonian land plants"

This Figshare item contains two datasets supporting the associated manuscript. The first dataset provides quantitative measurements of Middle Devonian cuticle thickness and corresponding surface resin film thickness from different localities. The second dataset presents quantitative data for organic compounds identified in the saturated and maltene fractions of purified cuticle extracts from various Middle Devonian lithobiolith samples. Together, these datasets support the morphological and geochemical analyses reported in the study.
