Designing a Geographic Information System for Mapping Greenhouse Gas Emissions (CO2) in Global Carbon Agriculture Analysis

A total of 195 countries have signed a global climate agreement known as the Paris agreement in 2015. Several countries have now started green projects related to reducing carbon emissions. In the use of technology by designing a Geographic Information System (GIS) that is able to map and produce analysis of carbon emissions (CO2). This study utilizes the Pycharm IDE in building a GIS to display the carbon profile (CO2) of the participating countries of the Paris agreement from 2015 - 2020. Using data visualization techniques and descriptive analysis related to carbon emissions (CO2). The results of the analysis related to the condition of carbon agriculture on the CO2 criteria per capita with a total of 4.47 tons, the Asian region being the most densely populated producing CO2 emissions in 2020 of 10.49 tons. For the criteria for annual CO2 carbon emissions with a total of 34.81 trillion tons. The Asian region was the most exposed with a value of 20.32 trillion tons. The biggest contribution was by Saudi Aramco with a value of 59,262 tons. For the criteria for yearto-year changes, the decrease or increase changes due to the resulting policy. Meanwhile, cumulatively world CO2 was recorded at 1.52 trillion tons in 2015 and increased to 1.70 trillion tons in 2020. Furthermore, the global carbon emission criteria, Asia holds the first position with a global CO2 emission value of 48.37% by China as the largest contributor. If the cumulative global CO2 emissions are calculated, the United States is in the top position with 24.56% due to the impact of the first industrial revolution
