Processed ship-based Multibeam Sonar Data acquired along the Japan Trench in the western North Pacific Ocean during the Thomas Washington expedition RNDB09WT (1988)

This data set was acquired with a ship-based SeaBeam Classic Multibeam Sonar system during Thomas Washington expedition RNDB09WT conducted in 1988 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Woody Sutherland). These data files are of MBSystem format and include Swath Bathymetry data that have not been processed. These data are included in the GMRT Synthesis, version 1. Data were acquired while the Thomas Washington was in transit.

本数据集由船载SeaBeam Classic多波束声呐系统（SeaBeam Classic Multibeam Sonar system）采集，采集工作依托1988年执行的托马斯·华盛顿号（Thomas Washington）科考航次RNDB09WT，本次航次首席科学家为伍迪·萨瑟兰博士（Dr. Woody Sutherland）。该数据集文件采用MBsystem格式，包含未经过处理的条带测深（Swath Bathymetry）数据。本数据集已被纳入版本1的GMRT合成数据集（GMRT Synthesis），所有数据均采集于托马斯·华盛顿号科考船的航行过程中。
