PDS Raw Data Set 4.27.18.sav

This is the data set of a quasi-experiment utilizing a pretest-post-test design. This study was conducted at a private, historically Black college in the southeastern region of the United States. Two investigators analyzed 81 student responses (experimental and control) on the Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy Scale (CDMSE; Betz & Taylor, 2012) before and after they were exposed to a professional website creation experimental condition. The purpose of this data collection was to determine the extent to which engaging in this experimental condition impacted students' CDMSE scores. Permission to conduct this study was obtained from the university's institutional review board.

本数据集为一项采用前测-后测准实验设计的研究数据集。本研究于美国东南部一所历史悠久的黑人私立学院开展。两名研究者对81份涵盖实验组与对照组的学生作答数据进行了分析，这些数据来自职业决策自我效能感量表（Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy Scale, CDMSE; Betz & Taylor, 2012），分别在学生接触专业网站制作实验处理条件的前后进行施测。本次数据采集的目的在于探究该实验处理条件对学生CDMSE得分的影响程度。本研究已获得该校机构审查委员会（institutional review board）的研究许可。
