The knowledge and quantification of the population and families residing in the Basque Country requires various statistical sources. On the one hand, population and families have been counted every 10 years through the Population and Housing Census, as well as Population and Housing Statistics (SPV) in the intercensal period. On the other hand, through the municipal statistics of inhabitants and using as main sources the administrative records of the Municipal Register of Inhabitants, the municipal demographic information is kept up to date.要了解并量化居住在巴斯克地区（Basque Country）的人口与家庭状况，需依托多种统计数据源。一方面，通过每十年一次的人口与住房普查，以及普查间隔期的人口与住房统计（SPV），完成相关统计工作；另一方面，借助居民市政统计数据，并以居民市政登记册的行政记录作为核心数据源，实现市政人口统计信息的实时更新。
