The research work was developed as a quantitative approach; the collection of data in the field and instrument evaluation was carried out in August 2021. The instrument includes a series of independent variables, external and internal organizational factors and as well as the individual characteristics and the intra-entrepreneurship dependent variable
The sample unit is represented by 332, which comprises managers, administrators, or heads of areas. The context developed is in the trade sector of medium-sized companies in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico.
The research instrument for data collection was developed in such a way that it allowed adapting to the variables of external and internal organizational factors, as well as the individual characteristics found within intrapreneurship, and therefore helps the growth of companies or organizations.
While for the structure and contextualization of the instrument, the scale used was corporate entrepreneurship Zahra (1993) (1991), Antoncic and Hisrich (2001), a scale based on the Corporate Entrepreneurship Assessment Instrument (CEAI), validated by Kuratko et al. (1990), Kuratko and Hornsby (2014), Moriano et al., (2009), Razavi and Ab Aziz (2017); Galván, Sánchez and Sánchez (2019); Individual Characteristics John et al., (1999); Jeroenet al.l, (2008).
The scale used was a five-point Likert considering the following responses and values 1= Totally disagree, 2= disagree, 3= Moderately agree, 4= Agree, 5= Strongly agree. The instrument was composed of 102 items.
