Egypt-Old Kingdom

Dataset of 55 statuses (positions) found in the archaeological and historical literature on Old Kingdom Egypt (Third to Sixth Dynasties, 2494 to 2181 BC). For each status, the expected roles and actual behaviors are listed, as are the rank (relative position) and bases for legitimacy or anyone holding the given status. Additional information on the society or status-holders' roles/behaviors are given as are all references from which the information came.

本数据集收录了古埃及古王国时期（第三至第六王朝，公元前2494年至公元前2181年）考古与历史文献中记载的55种职衔（statuses，即职位）。针对每一种职衔，本数据集均列出了其预期职责与实际履职行为，同时标注该职衔的职级（相对地位）以及担任该职衔者的合法性依据。此外还补充提供了与该时期社会或职衔持有者的职责、行为相关的额外信息，以及所有数据来源的参考文献。
