Datasets of (aggregated) information on scientific teams supporting results from "Freshness, Persistence and Success of Scientific Teams"

The data in this dataset was used to determine the results and produce the majority of figures reported on in the publication "Freshness, Persistence and Success of Scientific Teams". It pertains to, mostly aggregated, information on the persistent scientific teams studied therein, including their active periods, timespan, (highly cited) production, institutional team composition, and statistics on the team members' openness to other collaborative ties. We refer you to the aforementioned publication for more information on the procedures used to identify these teams and the extraction of this dataset, as well as for a better understanding of the concept of 'openness' and 'impulses'.
