Techniques & Data: field sample training with animals lab

The following data were recorded on a lightly rainy day with an overcast sky, at both a grassland and a nearby woodlot. A total of 9 pan traps (6 for the grassland, and 3 for the woodlot) were set up, approximately 2 meters apart, in a linear fashion. The pattern employed in the grassland was "white-blue-yellow", while the woodlot had used "blue-yellow-white". Also, the woodland set had the first pan in the least wooded area, and the subsquent pans were in progressively more woody areas (into the depth of the forest).
