Groundwater geochemistry data collected from a field pilot heat injection study [Quebec, Canada, 2020-2022]

The purpose of the field pilot heat injection tests was to simulate the operation of a groundwater heat pump system, which allowed examination of its potential spatiotemporal effects to the surrounding aquifer. Groundwater chemistry data was collected throughout different stages of the tests (pre-test, during heat injection tests, short-term and long-term recovery) and at different locatons of the pilot test system (pumping well, inlet and outlet of heater, injection wells and monitoring well downgradient). This data includes physicochemical measurements, concentrations of major cations and anions, dissolved organic and inorganic carbon.
