Marine gravity field modeling using SWOT satellite altimetry datasets over the coastal region of Nigeria
收藏资源简介:
This dataset provides supplementary materials supporting the manuscript “Marine gravity field modeling using SWOT satellite altimetry datasets over the coastal region of Nigeria.” The data enable reproducibility of the analysis and facilitate further research on marine gravity field recovery using satellite altimetry. The dataset consists of the following components: Sea Surface Height (SSH) dataSea surface height measurements derived from SWOT L2 LR, used as the primary input for gravity field modeling. Refined shipborne gravity dataShipborne gravity observations after quality control and preprocessing, serving as reference data for validation and comparison. Corrected SSHSea surface height data after applying cross over corrections. Residual height anomalies from SWOT after cross-over adjustment)Residual anomalies derived from SWOT observations, presented both following cross-over adjustment. Residual height anomalies from SWOT before cross-over adjustment)Residual anomalies derived from SWOT observations, presented both prior to cross-over adjustment. Predicted marine gravity from SWOTMarine gravity anomalies estimated from SWOT-derived altimetry data using the adopted inversion methodology. Differences between gravity models and observationsComparative datasets showing differences between the SWOT-derived gravity anomaly model and existing models (DTU21GRA and SSV29.1), as well as discrepancies relative to shipborne gravity measurements. These datasets are intended to support validation, comparison, and further methodological development in satellite altimetry-based marine gravity field modeling, particularly in coastal and complex regions.
