The Qz5 Survey

The Qz5 survey consists of VLT/X-SHOOTER and Keck/ESI spectra for 63 quasars (QSOs) at z = 4.7 - 5.7. We make available for download the data for this survey through this zenodo repository. The files for the 41 QSOs that were observed with VLT/X-SHOOTER have the extension "_UVI.fits" and contain the axes (1) wavelength, (2) flux density, and (3) error in flux density. The data for each of the 22 QSOs that were observed with Keck/ESI is divided into two different files: the wavelengths and flux densities (with extension "a_xF.fits") and the wavelengths and errors in flux density (with extension "a_xE.fits").The dataset is described in detail in Oyarzún et al. 2025 (accepted for publication in ApJ; DOI: 10.3847/1538-4357/adb430; https://arxiv.org/abs/2502.05261).
