This project explores a novel methodology for design and manufacture of consumer-driven personalised Energy Drinks (ED) using novel technologies developed by the research group. Initially, a novel online crowdsourcing OI platform named <i>‘Preference Marketplace’</i> is used to identify consumer’s preferences &amp; sensory attributes for the formulation of ED and then followed by manufacturing of consumer-preferred ED using a novel automated continuous flow manufacturing reactor for sensory evaluation. By combining the two technologies, it is now possible to produce an economical and sustainable on-demand formulated liquid food products that meet consumer needs.

本项目依托研究团队开发的创新技术,探索一种面向消费者导向的个性化能量饮料(Energy Drinks,ED)设计与制造的全新方法。首先,一款名为「偏好市集(Preference Marketplace)」的创新在线众包OI平台,将用于明确消费者针对能量饮料配方的偏好与感官属性;随后,借助一款新型自动化连续流制造反应器,制造契合消费者偏好的能量饮料以开展感官评估。通过将这两项技术相结合,如今可生产出兼具经济性与可持续性的按需定制液态食品,精准满足消费者需求。
