资源简介:
This study aims to investigate the genomic and environmental implications of prescribed fires on soil microbial communities in temperate mixed forests. By analyzing changes in microbial diversity, composition, and functional potential, as well as shifts in soil chemistry, we seek to enhance our understanding of post-fire ecosystem recovery processes. The relevance of this research lies in its potential to provide valuable insights into the genomic adaptations of soil microbes to fire disturbances and their subsequent impact on ecosystem processes. This knowledge can inform forest management strategies and contribute to the conservation of these vital ecosystems in the face of increasing wildfire risks exacerbated by climate change. Additionally, the data generated in this study will be a valuable resource for researchers and policymakers working on forest ecology, fire management, and soil microbiology.
