This species and the next species were recorded from Tanintharyi Nature Reserve by Nomura and Aung, 2020b for the first time. Both species were collected also in 2018.46. 假斑蛾属未定种1（Pseudophanias sp. 1） 检视标本：2头标本，采自16 SLL；1头标本，采自17 SLL。 讨论：本种与下一物种由Nomura与Aung于2020b首次在丹那沙林自然保护区（Tanintharyi Nature Reserve）记录，两种标本均采集于2018年。
