Atmospheric Cascades Induced by Monoenergetic Protons: MCNP–PHITS Benchmarking and Primary-to-Secondary Response Matrices

This repository contains the datasets associated with the paper:

*Atmospheric Cascades Induced by Monoenergetic Protons: MCNP–PHITS Benchmarking and Primary-to-Secondary Response Matrices *.

The datasets include fluence spectra of secondary particles produced in atmospheric cascades initiated by monoenergetic primary particles, as well as the corresponding MCNP and PHITS input and output files. The spectra are provided for different scoring altitudes and for a range of primary energies.

All fluence spectra are normalized to an incident primary proton fluence of 1 cm^-2.
