Xylaria sp. KR-3U Genome sequencing

this project describes the draft genome sequence of Xylaria sp. isolate KR-3U, an endophytic fungus isolated from the leaf tissue of Catharanthus roseus. the genome supports studies of taxonomy, secondary metabolite potential, and ecology. to our knowledge, this is the first genome report of a Xylaria species isolated from Catharanthus roseus in India.
