Potentially shallow geothermal formation of Maassluis

On behalf of the province of Zuid-Holland, IF-Technology conducted the study ‘Potential geothermal energy in Zuid-Holland’, 2 December 2016. This map shows the potential of the Maassluis formation. The formation is located at a depth of approximately 50 to 200 m-NAP. The potency for shallow geothermal energy (OGT) is defined as the amount of groundwater that can be extracted from the subsoil at a site for the delivery of heat (flow rate in m³/h). Geothermal energy is also known as geothermal heat.受南荷兰省（Zuid-Holland）委托，IF-Technology于2016年12月2日开展了题为《南荷兰省地热潜能》的研究。本地图呈现了马斯卢伊斯地层（Maassluis formation）的地热开发潜力。该地层埋藏深度约为50至200米（NAP基准面）。浅层地热（OGT）的开发潜力被定义为：某一场址可从地下土层中抽取用于供热的地下水量，单位为立方米每小时（m³/h）。地热能源亦可称为地热能。
