资源简介:

This dataset contains collected measurement data from iPerf3 throughput experiments conducted on 28 August 2025 at the WZL Testbed, as part of the TARGET-X project under the Manufacturing Vertical. The validation scenario aimed to evaluate the throughput capabilities of the private 5G Non-Standalone (NSA) network deployed at WZL, establishing a baseline for network performance under realistic robotic operating conditions. A total of 20 test trials were carried out using the 5G assessment pipeline described in Section 2.3.2 of the report Deliverabe D5.2 “Report on working demonstrators and validation implemented for 5G/6G technologies in manufacturing.” Each trial lasted 300 seconds, consisting of: 10 uplink tests (robot → edge server) 10 downlink tests (edge server → robot) During all trials, the ROS 2–based edge-controlled robotic software stack (ROS 2 nodes, Zenoh middleware, and communication topics) remained active to ensure representative load conditions. The measurements were conducted over a private 5G NSA network (Frequency Range 1, 3.7–3.8 GHz) provided by the 5G Industry Campus Europe (5G-ICE). Results show a stable uplink throughput averaging 104.9 Mbps (σ = 0.65 Mbps), demonstrating consistent network performance during robotic operations. Testbed: WZL, RWTH Aachen UniversitySoftware tools: iPerf3, ROS 2 Humble, Zenoh middlewareNetwork setup: Private 5G NSA FR1 (3.7–3.8 GHz), 5G Industry Campus Europe (5G-ICE) This dataset supports ongoing research on 5G-enabled edge-controlled robotics within TARGET-X Work Package 2: Manufacturing Vertical Implementation, providing baseline throughput data for validating communication performance in industrial robotic applications.
