Snow depth (manual probing)

Snow depth is measured manually in various places in the Zackenberg valley, during snow covered periods. In this dataset the position of every snow depth measurement is given in either longitude/latitude or in UTM coordinates (WGS 84, UTM Zone 27 N). Several measurements are from locations scattered in the Zackenberg valley, but measurements are also performed in two transects. One (called SNZ) from the coastline towards the top of Aucella and another (SNM), which is a transect of the central part of the Zackenberg valley (see map in: GeoBasis_Zackenberg_Snow_properties_Zackenberg_valley_Snow_depth.pdf). Furthermore systematic snow depth measurements are performed in transects near the ZEROCALM plots (ZC-1: UTM: NW-corner: 8264856 mN, 513363 mE

444 measurements were recorded as -1 (and a few as -2), these have been set equal to 0/no snow.

在积雪覆盖时段，科研人员于扎克enberg山谷（Zackenberg Valley）的多处点位开展人工雪深观测。本数据集提供了每一条雪深观测记录的位置信息，坐标格式可选用经纬度或通用横轴墨卡托（Universal Transverse Mercator, UTM）坐标系，采用WGS 84大地基准面、UTM 27 N分带。观测点位不仅零散分布于扎克enberg山谷全域，同时还沿两条预设样带布设：一条命名为SNZ，起自海岸线延伸至奥塞拉（Aucella）山顶；另一条命名为SNM，覆盖扎克enberg山谷的中部区域，详细地图参见GeoBasis_Zackenberg_Snow_properties_Zackenberg_valley_Snow_depth.pdf。此外，科研团队还在ZEROCALM样地周边布设样带开展系统性雪深观测，其中ZC-1样地的UTM坐标信息如下：西北角：8264856 mN，513363 mE；东北角：8264847 mN，513461 mE；西南角：8264758 mN，513347 mE；东南角：8264748 mN，513446 mE；海拔：45米（above sea level, a.s.l.）。ZC-2样地的UTM坐标信息为：西北角：8264083 mN，513025 mE；东北角：8264033 mN，513167 mE；西南角：8263970 mN，512985 mE；东南角：8263920 mN，513127 mE；海拔：13至22米（above sea level, a.s.l.）。数据集中共有444条记录取值为-1，另有少量记录为-2，此类记录均被统一修正为0，代表无积雪覆盖。
