This dataset contains response data of the alpine grassland ecosystem in the permafrost region of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau to climate change under RCP2.6, RCP4.5 and RCP8.5 scenarios during 1981–2099. The mean values of atmospheric variables output by multiple General Circulation Models (GCMs) under these three emission scenarios were used to drive the terrestrial ecosystem model, so as to simulate the changes of the alpine grassland ecosystem in the permafrost region of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau from 1981 to 2099.
