Probe-based metagenomic pathogen detection

Next-generation sequencing data of samples used for implementation and validation of a Probe-based metagenomic pathogen detection by the Genomics and Bioinformatics Unit, Department of Infectious Diseases, National Institute of Health Dr. Ricardo Jorge, Lisbon, Portugal. For each sample, reads are submitted per panel (RPIP or UPIP) and correspond to quality-processed reads (i.e., using Trimmomatic) mapped to representative genome sequences of the pathogens confirmed by PCR ("PCR positive hits"), as described in the asssociated publication.
