This dataset contains the number and proportion of employed persons in the primary, secondary and tertiary industries in the Tibet Autonomous Region from 1980 to 2016. The data is compiled from two official statistical yearbooks: *Tibet Social and Economic Statistical Yearbook* and *Tibet Statistical Yearbook*, with its accuracy consistent with that of the source yearbooks.
