Research data supporting: "Mineral Phase Changes During Intervertebral Disc Degeneration"

Excel spreadsheet containing original raw FTIR dataset from MPhil project carried out by Theresa Yenen. Raw data are supplied for extruded and non-extruded samples, as well as demonised, second derivative and local maxima for each set. FTIR spectra were treated via wavelet denoising utilising the PyWavelets library in Python, employing the coif5 wavelet, with level 3 decomposition, and hard thresholding at 3-fold of the Universal Threshold.

本数据集以Excel电子表格形式存储，涵盖Theresa Yenen所开展的哲学硕士（Master of Philosophy, MPhil）项目的原始傅里叶变换红外光谱（Fourier Transform Infrared, FTIR）数据集。本次提供了挤出样品与未挤出样品的原始数据，同时包含各组样品的去噪（原文疑似笔误，应为denoised）、二阶导数以及局部极大值数据。所有FTIR光谱均通过Python环境下的PyWavelets库完成小波去噪处理，采用coif5小波基进行3层分解，并以通用阈值的3倍数值作为硬阈值进行阈值处理。
