Genome-wide mapping of Hnf4a binding sites in the newborn mouse kidneys

Hnf4a is specifically expressed in developing proximal tubule cells in the newborn mouse kidney. In order to identify direct target genes of Hnf4a in the developing proximal tubules, we performed ChIP-Seq of Hnf4a in the mouse kidneys at P0. Overall design: The mouse kidneys at P0 were crosslinked with 1% PFA and Hnf4a ChIP was performed. Sequencing libraries were generated using Rubicon ThruPLEX DNA sequencing kit for Illumina and sequencing was performed using the Illumina HiSeq2500.
