<p><span style="background-color:rgb(255,255,255);color:rgb(76,76,76);font-family:"Avenir Next W01", "Avenir Next W00", "Avenir Next", Avenir, "Helvetica Neue", sans-serif;font-size:16px;">Since 2017 Lake Sturgeon Herpesviruses (LSHVs) have been identified in the Great Lakes basin (Wisconsin and Michigan), and in the MIssissippi River basin (Wisconsin). Current data suggests the presence of two similar but distinct herpesviruses (Family Alloherpesviridae) in these Lake Sturgeon populations. Field data is being sought via this survey in order to aid fish health professionals in better understanding the current range of LSHVs.</span></p>
