Investigating Amodal Completion in Flip-flop Priming

This is a visual flanker experiment that manipulates the features of amodal completion and occluders. The primary aim is to investigate whether amodal completion and perceptual continuity modulate response priming differently for colour and shape processing. Participants will be shown with flankers of red/green colour in circle/diamond shape, and reacting to the target stimulus as quickly and as accurately as possible. The analysis of the data will be done in three-factorials repeated-measures ANOVA, perceptual grouping (3 level), prime-target congruencies and feature relevance (4), and SOAs (3).
