资源简介:
This dataset contains detailed acoustic measurements of Japanese long and short vowels, as reported in Yazawa and Kondo (2019).
Speakers
16 native speakers of Tokyo Japanese (8 male, 8 female), aged between 21 and 30 years.
Materials
The materials consisted of disyllabic nonce words of the form /C1V1C2V2/, produced in isolation and within a carrier sentence (see ReadingList.txt).
V1 (target vowel): Long (/ii, ee, aa, oo, uu/) and short (/i, e, a, o, u/)
C1 & C2 (consonantal context): /b_p/, /d_t/, /g_k/, /z_s/, /h_d/
V2 (following vowel): /e/ and /o/
Acoustic parameters
The following acoustic parameters were extracted:
Duration
Formant frequencies (F1, F2, F3) measured using Praat
Fn_Midpoint: the nth formant measured at the temporal midpoint of each vowel interval
Fn_x: the nth formant measured at the xth of 30 equidistant points within the central 60% of the vowel interval
