RESPICAT v1.0: A metagenome-assembled genome catalogue of human respiratory tract prokaryotes

RESPICAT Version: v1.0 RESPICAT is a metagenome-assembled genome (MAG) catalogue of human respiratory tract prokaryotes. The catalogue contains 1,255 dereplicated MAGs recovered from respiratory tract metagenomes and is intended as a public genome resource for respiratory microbiome research. The genome archive `RESPICAT_MAGs_v1.0.tar.gz` contains one FASTA file per MAG. Public MAG identifiers follow the format `RESPICAT_MAG_000001`, and contig identifiers inside each FASTA file follow the format `RESPICAT_MAG_000001_contig_000001`. This record includes the compressed MAG FASTA archive and checksum file for validating file integrity. Associated metadata tables, documentation, and helper scripts are available through the RESPICAT GitHub repository.
