During the ACLOUD (Arctic CLoud Observations Using airborne measurements during polar Day) campaign conducted in May / June 2017, downward-looking commercial digital cameras equipped with a 180° - fisheye lens were installed on the aircraft Polar 5 and Polar 6. The images were used to derive the surface type fractions of snow/white ice, bare ice, melt ponds, and open water. The data set provides collocated broadband surface albedo, nadir brightness temperature, and surface type fractions along selected flight tracks of 21 flights.
2017年5月至6月开展的ACLOUD(北极日间机载云观测项目,Arctic CLoud Observations Using airborne measurements during polar Day)观测计划中,Polar 5与Polar 6号科考机上搭载了配备180°鱼眼镜头的下视商用数码相机。所采集的影像被用于反演雪/白冰、裸冰、融水池与开阔水域的地表类型占比。本数据集提供了沿21个飞行架次选定航迹的同步匹配宽带地表反照率、天底亮温以及地表类型占比数据。
