In 2022, 144,772 crimes were reported by police forces to the judicial authorities in Milan, of which 60 percent constituted by thefts. Damages represented another eleven percent of the total reported crimes and the second most frequent felony, followed by frauds and cyber frauds, accounting for seven percent of the total.
