资源简介:
This article highlights the diagnostic significance of echocardiography in identifying aortic pathologies in children. Early detection of anatomical and hemodynamic changes in the aorta associated with congenital and acquired cardiovascular diseases is one of the important tasks of pediatric cardiology. Echocardiography, as a non-invasive, safe, and highly informative method, enables the assessment of aortic diameter, blood flow velocity, pressure gradient, and the condition of the vessel wall. The article analyzes echocardiographic findings in coarctation of the aorta, bicuspid aortic valve, aortic aneurysm, and congenital heart defects based on a review of the literature.
