ADCP and echosounder data in the Kvitøya Trough, Northern Barents Sea

ADCP and echosounder data recorded by a bottom mounted, upward facing Nortek Signature100, deployed at 250 m depth in the Kvitøya Trough, northern Barents Sea. The echosounder data are uncalibrated. Data were collected during two separate mooring deployments extending from 2019-11-16 to 2020-09-28 and from 2021-02-22 to 2021-11-10. The Nortek Signature100 combines a four-beam ADCP operating at 100 kHz and a central beam with a 70–120 kHz echosounder. The echosounder data are separated into 7 frequency bands: 70kHz, 73.8 kHz, 82.3 kHz, 90.9 kHz, 99.4 kHz, 107.9 kHz and 120kHz. Near bottom temperature and pressure data are also included. Data extend from approximately 14 m above the bottom to within 2 m of the water surface.

本数据集收录声学多普勒流速剖面仪（ADCP）与回声测深仪（echosounder）数据，由安装于海底、朝上朝向的Nortek Signature100采集，该设备部署于巴伦支海北部基特岛海槽（Kvitøya Trough）水深250米处。其回声测深仪数据未经过校准。数据采集工作分两次独立的锚系部署完成，时段分别为2019年11月16日至2020年9月28日，以及2021年2月22日至2021年11月10日。Nortek Signature100集成了一台工作频率为100 kHz的四波束ADCP，以及一条覆盖70–120 kHz频段的中心波束回声测深仪。该回声测深仪数据被划分为7个频段：70 kHz、73.8 kHz、82.3 kHz、90.9 kHz、99.4 kHz、107.9 kHz及120 kHz。数据集同时包含近底温度与压力数据，观测覆盖范围约为海底上方14米至距水面2米以内的水域。
