HotKing dataset: heat stress in breeding king penguins.

This dataset is attached to the research paper "<b>The heat is on: behavioural, physiological and reproductive evidence of heat stress in breeding king penguins.</b>", which investigates the heat stress response of cold-adapted king penguins when breeding on land. For this, observations of behavioural thermoregulation of parents while taking care of the egg or chick (panting, wing spreading, exposure of the brood pouch) are confronted to air temperature, solar radiation, wind speed and relative humidity recorded at the colony location. Sub-cutaneous temperatures (from the back of the individuals) are also measured.
