NRS-795 | Minutes of Special School Committee [Male Orphan School]

These are the minutes of a special committee set up by a resolution of the Committee of the Male Orphan School at their quarterly general meeting 12 April 1820. A copy of this resolution is inscribed on the first page of the minute book. The work of the special committee was to inquire into and report upon the present state and economy of the public schools throughout the Colony. The minutes record some of their activities in this inquiry. This volume forms part of the series NRS 898, Special bundles, 1794-1825 of the Colonial Secretary and was filmed as part of the Colonial Secretary's Papers project.
