Territorial and administrative organisation of the SR

Administrative borders are one of the thematic categories of ZBGIS® — a geographical database containing information on location elements from the whole territory of the Slovak Republic. It is the basic level of the territorial and administrative arrangement, with a class of territorial and technical units (borders of cadastral territories) added to this product. Territorial and administrative layout data are generated from the approved boundaries of cadastral territories from the source database created from the vector cadastral map (VKM). Based on the current list of municipalities, parts of municipalities and military districts, administrative borders — municipality, district, county, are semi-automatically assembled.行政边界是ZBGIS®的主题类别之一。ZBGIS®是一套涵盖斯洛伐克共和国全境空间位置要素信息的地理数据库。该类数据集属于行政区划体系的基础层级，本次产品额外添加了一类地域技术单元——地籍辖区边界。行政区划布局数据来源于基于矢量地籍图（Vector Cadastral Map, VKM）构建的源数据库中经核准的地籍辖区边界。基于当前的市镇、市镇分区及军事辖区名录，市镇边界、县区边界、州界等行政边界可通过半自动方式汇编生成。
