FAIRsharing record for: REGULATOR

This FAIRsharing record describes: REGULATOR is a metazoan transcription factor (TF) and maternal factor resource, specifically designed for developmental biology studies. Maternal factors were expressed in unfertilized eggs, and gradually reduced as time goes on. In order to reduce the search space of developmentally important genes, we only focused on those specifically expressed genes in egg stages, whose expression value ≥ 8 times than the mean value of others. There are ~77 metazoan species in the current database. The identification of TFs was based on statistical information similarity of protein features.

本FAIRsharing记录所描述的REGULATOR数据库，是一款专为发育生物学研究打造的后生动物转录因子（Transcription Factor，TF）与母源因子资源库。母源因子在未受精卵细胞中表达，并随胚胎发育进程逐渐衰减。为缩小发育关键基因的搜索空间，该数据库仅纳入卵阶段特异性表达且表达量不低于其余样本均值8倍的基因。当前该数据库共收录约77种后生动物物种。转录因子的鉴定基于蛋白质特征的统计信息相似性。
