The novel TUD-Brussels dataset was recorded from a moving car in the city center of Brussels. It contains 508 image pairs (one pair per second, each pair consisting of a frame and its subsequent frame from the original video), with a resolution of 640 × 480, and includes 1326 annotated pedestrians. This dataset is challenging as pedestrians appear from multiple perspectives and at extremely small scales.
