Serial section series of Bathymodiolus childressi plantigrade (HPF-small)

Serial section series of a symbiotic Bathymodiolus childressi plantigrade. The mussel was sampled at the Mississippi Canyon 853 (28.123 N; -89.139 E) at 1071 m water depth in 2015. The mussel was fixed with 2.5% glutaraldehyde stored in PHEM-buffer. Sections (1.5 µm section thickness) were stained with toluidine blue.

共生希氏深海贻贝（Bathymodiolus childressi）匍匐稚幼体的连续切片系列。该贻贝于2015年采自水深1071米的密西西比峡谷853号站位（北纬28.123°，西经89.139°）。样本经2.5%戊二醛固定，并保存于PHEM缓冲液中。切片厚度为1.5微米，经甲苯胺蓝染色。
