The package contains dataset to article entitled "Low-voltage micro-arc oxidation of plastically deformed titanium in silicate-based electrolytes: microstructure, tribological properties and cytocompatibility"The files present the results of investigations of titanium oxide coatings fabricated with micro-arc oxidation method by using silicate-based electrolytes performed with scanning (SEM) and transmission electron microscopes (TEM), tribotester (reciprocating wear test), confocal laser scanning microscope (CLSM; cytotoxicity) as well as X-ray diffractometer (XRD; phase analysis). The files contain photographs of the samples surface topography, cross-sections/microstructures, chemical analysis of elements distribution, values of coefficient of friction and wear rate, images of morphologies of osteoblasts and XRD patterns.This data is presented in the form of .odt files, readable with e.g. Microsoft Word, .tiff/.png/.bmp files readable with popular computer programs like IrfanView and .xls files readable with e.g. Microsoft Excel.
